Wenedyk

Wenedyk (in English: Venedic) is a constructed language. Boldly speaking, it shows what Polish would have looked like if it were a Romance language. To put it in a more sophisticated manner: what would have happened if the Slavic tribes that would later become the Poles had been romanized? Or, for that matter, what would have happened if a group of Romans had moved to the territory inhabited by those Proto-Poles?

In the alternate timeline of Ill Bethisad, Wenedyk is one of the principal languages of the Republic of the Two Crowns. This constructed universe features two more North-East Romance, or Slavo-Romance, languages: Slvanjek, or Slevan (created by Benct Philip Jonsson), and Šležan, or Silesian (created by myself).
