The current government of the RTC has been in office since 16 April 2007. Chancellor (= prime minister) is Leoń Janać, twin brother of Veneda's prime minister Kazimierz Janać. He succeeded the former commander-in-chief of the RTC's armed forces in Southeast Florida, Marek Aldendorf, as chancellor on 30 March 2007. His coalition government consists of eleven parties (ŻŻŻ, BR, DN, Sułodziefięca, WPP, VS, Respublikonai, Tautininkai, NDS, Nostra Galicja, KRN) and enjoys the support of several other, smaller parties. Three of the ministers do not belong to any party. The composition of the government is almost identical to that of the previous government.
Ideologically, this government is a mixture of conservative, nationalist and populist elements. The dominating force, the ŻŻŻ, is a coalition in itself: it was formed in March 2005 by eight smaller christian-democratic, conservative, liberal and nationalist parties.
