The Aldendorf administration was in office from 13 January 2006 till 30 March 2007. It was led by the former general Marek Aldendorf, who had previously gained some popularity as the commander-in-chief of the RTC's armed forces in Southeast Florida in March 2004. It was a coalition government consisting of eleven parties (ŻŻŻ, BR, DN, Sułodziefięca, WPP, VS, Respublikonai, Tautininkai, NDS, Nostra Galicja, KRN) and supported by several other, smaller parties. Three of the ministers did not belong to any party.
Ideologically, this government was – just like its successor – a mixture of conservative, nationalist and populist elements. The dominating force, the ŻŻŻ, was a coalition in itself: it had been formed in March 2005 by eight smaller christian-democratic, conservative, liberal and nationalist parties.
