Some prepositions that deal with a location can govern both the genitive and the direct case. This indicates a stable location and the direction towards it, respectively. | |

po | (+1) after, behind; (+2) behind; for (price) |

Several of the prepositions listed above can also serve as prefixes; in combination with a verb, they can give its meaning a certain switch: czerek- "around", dzie- "off, away" en- "in", jętar- "between", kętr(a)- "against", ko- "with, together", o- "to, into, onto", par- "through", po- "after, behind", pro- "forward", prze- "before", sur- "over, up", tra(s/z)- "over, across", and z(e)-/s- "out" or "under". Apart from these, there are three prefixes that do not correspond with a preposition: des-/dez- "apart, into pieces", je- "out", and rze- "back".
The most common coordinating conjunctions are: i “and”, u “or”, jak “besides, and also”, uta “but”, maż “and, but”, komód ... szyk i “both ... and”, niec ... niec “neither ... nor”, and koju ... iłu “the ... the”.
Subordinate clauses can be introduced by many different conjunctions, including: kód “that”, szy “whether, if”, kędy “when”, komód “when, if, like” przekód “before”, przekód nie “until, as long as”, pokód “after”, sieńkód “without”, nąk “because”, prostokód “because”, prokód “so that, in order to”, parkód “because of the fact that”, tost “as, as soon as”, wól/wolkąk “although”, wyszek “as long as”, ściępu kędy “while”, and en kąt “as far as”.
